At my artistic bookbindery, I combine traditional handicrafts like hand gilding, blindstitched spine-tops, stitching books by hand and highly elaborate gold, silver and blind embossing using the latest technologies, such as laser engraving and laser cutting and unique designs. Thus, as a bookbinder, I often avail myself of the skills of a select group of specialists in the crafts of smithing, calligraphy, carpentry and wood turning, carving, painting and goldsmithing. This makes each book a uniquely distinctive piece.
My aim is not just to manufacture books, but also to highlight all the possibilities available today and to inspire people to acquire a personal, one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted item.
